| Ari Beach Dive Operators | |
The main dive operators of the Maldives are a scandanavian company called Euro Divers. They have dive centres on many of the main tourist resorts and are very well managed.
At Ari Beach the dive centre consisted of a main room for storing all dive equipment, wash tanks for cleaning kit after diving, and an area for teaching. They provided the opportunity to do all kinds of courses, technical courses such as Nitrox, general interest courses such as Fish Identification and photography, and PADI qualification courses.
It is possible to hire any equipment you may need, anything from wetsuits to dive computers at very reasonable rates, which is great considering they have the monopoly on the diving and if they wanted could charge extortionate prices.
The intstructors working at Ari Beach were brilliant, there was a selection of nationalities which catered very well for all the divers, there was always someone there who was able to answer any questions. Their knowledge of the area was also exceptional, and as such the dives that I went on were marvelous. At the dive briefings we were always told of something in particular to look out for, which always provided that feeling of anticipation in the hope of seeing it!
I would highly reccommend Euro Divers to anyone contemplating visiting the Maldives and am sure that they wouldn't be disappointed.
